Good alto music?

Hi, i am a 16 year old alto saxophone player.There is a lot of great music out there that features tenors as the lead, i wan to know what are some good ones out there that are alto lead. i like to study of the music so any help would be apreciated.

    Try Mercy Mercy Mercy and Autumn Leaves. I like to play those on alto. I don't know how good your ear is, but you pull the tunes off Cannonball Adderley's Mercy Mercy Mercy , and Somethin Else albums respectively. Perhaps it would be a good idea to get the sheet music too. Cannonball was the best alto player that I ever saw live. Hope you like those tunes :)

    buy the bill evans song book with the play along cd, try the song, "the opener", it is easy and has great scales for a young player.
