Horn history?
I've played my student Armstrong alto for 20+ years and it's got a great quality high range - so nice I've been unwilling to try a new horn. Armstrong had just been bought out when I started way back when and I could've had a shiny brand new horn, but my mother had been told Armstrong was a better quality, so I took a rather beat up but now well-loved one and haven't regretted it for a day. I don't know how old this horn is and would like to research its source/age. Are there any online sources for tracing instruments?
