    Re: Warm-up Routine

Longtones starting on middle B and going up and down chromatically until you come back to B. Tonguing starting on whole notes, then quarter notes, eighth notes, triplets, sixteenths, etc Major scales full range Melodic Minor scales full range Blues scales Intervals in the key of Bflat, thirds, fourths, fifths Overtones Longtones again. Practice crescendos and decrescendos. I was told by a teacher at summer camp that you were supposed to practice for at least an hour, warming up for half of that. I've used that routine, and it works pretty well. Good Luck
