Identifying an old Conn Saxaphone

I have just come into possession of an old Conn Saxaphone. It looks like it may have been painted black. The model or serial number is N118580. I know absolutely nothing about these so any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like a Directors model Conn from around 1970. Does it have the shooting star design on the bell? It's probably not worth a whole lot especially with the black paint.

Is the shooting star one worth a lot?

not really, it was a student horn, and the N would mean it is most likely from nogales, or south of the border in mexico
