What skill level are you all at? Are you thinking 60's-70's soul, or something more progressive? I mean you could go the well worn Tower of Power route or perhaps Earth Wind and Fire. Or maybe Chicago as it was a pretty good blend of jazz and rock along with Blood Sweat and Tears. Where is the collective bands head at, as far as style is concerned.
