This is a vintage hard rubber Selmer Paris “scroll shank” tenor sax mouthpiece. Stamped a C, it was designed for those classical players wanting a very small tip opening for use with a hard reed. It has the same scroll design as the Soloists and the same horseshoe chamber. The piece has some minor surface scratches and playing wear but nothing major and overall is in excellent condition.
