This is a Lawton 8 Star B mouthpiece for tenor sax. Physically and cosmetically the piece is in great condition. The finish looks very good on this mouthpiece showing no major wear. Its tip, rails and table are in great condition, there is a very light surface scratch near the inner chamber. This is purely cosmetic and has no effect on the way the mouthpiece plays. The mouthpiece takes the air very easy and produces a huge full resonating sound. It plays on the warmer side but has a very exceptional amount of power, projection and response.
