This is a vintage Gale Companion tenor saxophone mouthpiece.  The overall design of the mouthpiece is very similar to that of the earlier Simpson model Gregory mouthpiece.  The only major difference that we found was the metal ring around the end of the shank.  This piece has been professionally opened to .100", so now measures more like a 7. It is in excellent physical condition, with no cracks or major scratches. The bite plate, tip, rails, and table are all just about perfect.
