Here is a quality vintage Otto Link Super Tone Master metal mouthpiece for the tenor saxophone. This mouthpiece is of Link’s esteemed Florida vintage, possesses a stamped serial number of P55, and a 6* facing equating to an .095’’ tip opening. Single lined around its shank, but possesses no USA stamping, indicating an older vintage. Physically the mouthpiece is in excellent condition, with its tip, side rails, and interior chamber all looking immaculate. This link plays with a classic bop jazz tenor sound, producing tones rich and fat, with lots of room for lyricism. A nice responsiveness allows for a seamless transition amongst notes, and a great command of the sub-tone. A mouthpiece with a highly colorful tone. This is a nice vintage find, and a true player.
