Here is a great vintage Otto Link Tone Master metal mouthpiece for the tenor saxophone. This piece was manufactured in New York, and features a serial number marking of H51. The piece has a stamped ‘4’ facing, but being reopened by modern mouthpiece expert Erik Greiffenhagen, possesses a tip opening which measures out at .105’’. New York Links produce a tone slightly darker than that of the Florida variety, with a tad more character and sophistication. A nice round tone which, being reopened, will project much better and allow for a greater lyrical richness.
