This is an all original in box Meyer New York 5M mouthpiece for alto sax. Meyer mouthpieces have been one of the top picks for jazz alto players for many years. They provide a warm foundation but can really cut through with brilliance when you need them too. This particular mouthpiece has seen its fair share of play in the past but is still in excellent physical condition. There is some cosmetic wear around the body, some light teeth marks around the beak and some wear on the side but nothing that will effect the way the piece plays. The rails and tip are both still in good original condition, there is a small amount of play wear right above the tip rail. 

This mouthpiece’s tip opening is just a hair under .074”.
