This is a gorgeous original lacquer vintage Selmer Mark VI, serial number 219074. The tenor is about as nice as you are going to find. Its original lacquer finish and floral engraving are pristine and give the sax a stunning look. The body tube, bell flare and bow areas are all in perfect original condition. The only real mentionable cosmetic wear on the sax is in the area of the low Eb key guard. The top foot of the Eb key guard was re-soldered at some point. This saxophone includes the original neck which is also in perfect shape, it has never been pulled down.

After you take in how nice this tenor looks you will quickly fall in love with its great sound. It plays with an extremely consistent balanced resonant spread across the entire instrument. The core sound is warm medium, just a hair more focused and brighter then the typical Mark VI. Its key action feels comfy and compact under the fingers allowing for fast response and nice overall feel.
