This is a very interesting Evete – Schaeffer tenor saxophone. The serial number indicates it was originally made around 1918. It does also have a stamp indicating it was present as a Chicago worlds fair item in 1933. The tenor features a unique and strange bell shape. It also has a number of extra trill keys and key features. Including a back door Eb key that sits on top of the D pad cup.
This saxophone is currently on display in the Saxquest Saxophone Museum in Saint Louis Missouri.
