This is a gorgeous Selmer Paris Super Balanced Action curved soprano sax which is a very rare saxophone. New pads, professionally refurbished. There is almost no finish wear on the original silver plating and is well over 99% intact. There are no dents, dings or resolders, the sax has never been damaged.

This sax has a slightly darker tonal color with an amazingly warm and rich sound. Its extremely responsive. It is truly a fascinating instrument. This is a very special and unique vintage soprano with two serials (51557 on the body and 38885 on the bell). Never seen before as it probably is the only one ever made as a mistake by the Selmer factory. The sound and feel is exceptional and it is incredibly responsive and resonant, with unmatched tonal color.
