This is a vintage Selmer Paris Super Balanced Action tenor saxophone, serial number 50422.

The Selmer tenors in this serial number range start to bridge the gap between the SBA and the early Mark VI's. The characteristics consistent between them are their tremendous sound, warm and spread with plenty of power.

This one in particular was professionally re-padded in the Saxquest shop in 2013 by George Bunk. It was set-up with Valentino premium pads, metal TM Custom resonators, new corks and felts.
