This is a gorgeous original silver plated Martin Handcraft “Typewriter” alto saxophone, serial number 96482. Martin's Typewriter model is named for the sets of pearl buttons on all of the key touches. The unique design is striking but it was only in production for a few years making it a fairly rare item. This one is in tremendous condition and was recently restored in the shop of Scott Reed in 2019.
