This is a fantastic Buescher True Tone soprano sax, serial number 228284. This horn is beautiful with over 90% original lacquer remaining. It was given a brand new pad job by Saxquest in 2004.

The sax looks incredible. There are no dents, no dings, and no resoldered joints anywhere. It feels completely effortless under the fingers, with a medium key tension and height. All of the keys and mechanisms are fluid and quick.

Best of all, this soprano excels in sound. No modern soprano can touch these vintage Bueschers. It has a pure and sweet sound, which is very warm and inviting. If you have not heard a vintage Buescher soprano before, you are missing out on what a soprano sax is supposed to sound like.
