This is a fantastic mid 70's vintage Yanagisawa soprano saxophone, serial number 1763413. This soprano has stayed in excellent condition through the horns and is tremendous player.

This horn dates back to when Yanagisawa was putting the manufacter date in the serial number (this one dating from 1976), and still has greater than 95% original lacquer remaining. There are no dents or dings in the sax, and it does feature keywork to high F#.

Pads are in excellent condition with metal domed resonators, and everything is sealing well. These horns are close replicas to the Mark VI, and play with solid intonation and just a huge free blowing open response. Projection is equally impressive.
