SELMER Modele 26 - gold plate (Serial Number: 6859) Back to model

This is an extremely rare early vintage Selmer Paris Model 26 soprano sax in gold plate, serial number 6859.

The original gold plating is well over 90% intact, with the horn showing only honest playing wear mostly on the back side of the body tube, where you can see the silver plating underneath peaking through. Physically the horn is in tremendous shape with no history of repair to the body.
