A few of the best saxophones I've ever played on were Virtuoso Deluxe model gold plate tenor saxes. This one is no exception. This tenor dates to 1924. Its burnished gold plate with an intricately engraved bald eagle. The instrument is also heavily engraved throughout including bell, bottom bow and body tube. All key touches are inlayed with pearl.
