C.G. CONN Silver Plate 26M (Serial Number: 271492) Back to model

This is a truly stunning saxophone and the flagship of Conn's golden era of craftsmanship. It is a 26M "Conqueror" with the naked lady engraving. It is in perfect condition with 100% of the original silver plate still intact. It has matte silver on the body and burnished plating on the keys and engraving. The bell interior is plated in gold. It features a double sleeve neck, rolled toneholes, adjustable thumbhook and multiple key adjustment risers. This series was the most mechanically advanced of Conn's top of the line professional saxes, and is truly a work of art.

The physical condition is perfect. There are NO dents and NO previous dent or damage repairs.

The neck is original and also in perfect condition.

This is another example of a closet horn that has seen little to no use in its lifetime. It is absolutely beautiful and plays like a dream. It has excellent intonation and a strong sound. The tone is warm and very pleasing.
