1942 Conn 10M Tenor

Listed: September 10th, 2019 12:40 PM
Description:

I’m listing one of the finest Tenor Saxophones you will ever find.  Due to circumstances I won’t describe here, I cannot fully play this instrument.  History - I found this horn about 30 years ago at the “Sax Doctor’s Shop” in Irvington New Jersey, owned by Bob Ackerman.  I immediately sold my Selmer Mark VI to buy this Tenor.  There is not a bigger sound!  This thing is totally in tune, mechanically as perfect as can be (for a 1942 horn), the keywork is tight and fast.  No dents or scratches, but some deterioration of the original dark lacquer.  You will not find a better horn.  You certainly can find a prettier one, but not betteR!  $2900 gets you a horn that sounds like many thousands of Dollars more!  Includes a very sturdy Tray-Pack case (removable clarinet case, and area for flute case).
