Selmer Balanced Action silver-plated alto saxophone, 1938

Balanced Action alto saxophone, originally silver-plated, plating is in good condition, especially on the bell and bow and the neck. Serial number 26XXX. Located in Brooklyn, NY. There are no major repairs, no dents or bends, no heavy soldering, neck has not been damaged. The D-key key riser is optional. The horn has been overhauled two years ago, the pads are still in good condition - I am primarily a tenor player, was using alto for teaching and some private sessions.It is a gorgeous instrument with a singing, silvery sound, can be quite powerful. The intonation is very good, great focus. Protec Micro case included.
