Brother Jefferson Band is a St. Louis based Electric Blues band. Led by singer, composer and entertainer Jeff Chapman, this ensemble has over 150 years of combined live performance behind them, with no signs of slowing down.

The band features founder Jeff Chapman, aka Brother Jefferson, on vocals and rhythm guitar, John Hartmann on lead guitar, Brian Massey on bass, Derek Bonn on drums, and Ian Buschmann on saxophone. Their material consists mainly of original songs written by Chapman, with some well-chosen cover songs to round out a full length program. The unique blend of styles within the original tunes, sets this band apart from other acts in the region, and is best experienced in a live setting.

While the band performs regularly at BB’s Jazz, Blues, & Soups (located near downtown St. Louis), they can also be found playing throughout the region at various venues and events. With an energetic and dynamic show featuring the outstanding talents of the individual band members, the combined result is like a finely tuned engine.
