mouthpieces

Hello i´ve started to play my sax tenor after 11 years of silence,i know is better later than ever,but the point is that once i use to lay an otto link but i don´t remember the number but it was super sweet and now i have to play with a yamaha 4 anyone tell me what is a good otto link to study with? or also another mouthpiece and what number?....some advice please....i just find the yamaha to tight .

      I play a metal Otto Link 7* and love it. It seems to be a nice set up, and I've noticed a lot of players using it..You might give it a try. I think Link's are the best for the classic tenor sound..just my opinion, you know.

        thanks...i was thinking the 7* but wasn´t sure what´s difference between 7* and 6?

          it's the width of the tip opening...the 7* is a wider opening...more volume..different sound..abit more projection..

          ok iwent to buy the ottolink 7 and forestone reed f2 and now all works out wayyyyy better...thanks a ot
