Vintage Buescher Tenor Sax Mouthpiece

Hi I have a Vintage Buescher Tenor Sax Mouthpiece that I have been learning to play on for about two years. I dropped it Monday morning and a large piece chipped of the tip and went to dust. I need to get a replacement that will be suitable. Any ideas?

Can you take pictures of your mouthpiece - particularly the tip and chamber? I have a bunch of tenor mouthpieces sitting around, and I might have a similar design available. In fact, depending on the extent of the damage, I might be able to restore it. I'm guessing the tone of your Buescher mouthpiece is rather warm?

I don't have a digital camera but my daughter does and she is coming over this weekend and I will have her bring it, take some pictures and send them to you. Yes it does have a warm tone and I have gotten very used to it. I tried to temporarily replace it with a Phil Barone Vintage Tenor Sax 6* mouthpiece but so far it isn't working for me. Thank you talk to you more soon. Glenn
