The Conn 10M and 30M tenors were staples in any big band saxophone section back in the 1930's and 1940's. With their big broad sound, they helped define what we refer to today as that "Texas tenor" sound. Here you see Chris Potter giving a trial run to a 1936 Connqueror tenor sax.
