Ok, my friend, my deepest condolences about the accident.
I guess the heat could altered your instrument a lot.
I have two ideas:
1-Bring your instrument to a highly qualificated proffessional technician and ask him.It's very difficult to determine if your instrument can revive if we don't have at least some pictures, so the proffesional cantell you about that and about how much can cost to you.
2-If the repair is expensiver or close to the price of a new sax, consider to buy a new one.
