Re: p.mauriat saxes
They are solid horns for the money you pay. Somewhat dull sound but that can be remedied with a brighter reed or mouthpiece. I own 2 five digit mark VI's, Balanced and super balanced action altos, two silver yanigasawa altos, and a selmer cigar cutter alto as well as a mark VI tenor and Yani tenor. Ultimately unless you want a brecker sound or a brigther harsher tone the p.mauriat saxes are a good buy.
