    there are serial number charts for Selmer and many other brands lcated at www.saxgourmet.com

      If you go to www.petethomas.co.uk/saxophone-serial-numbers.html and look at the saxophone list, it shows that your MARK VI is between 1955 and 1956

        I have a serial# 60,8xx Mark VI which was made in Paris in late 1955. Yours is either from early 1955 or late 1954.

      Goodson was caught red handed breaking forum rules posing as someone else and offered no explanation or apology for his deceit. Yet he continues to participate here as if nothing has happened. What is wrong with this picture?
