Trade Offer

I don't know if it's ok to post this here but...here i go. I have a Tenor Conn Transitional Silver Nickel Serial Number 246XXX in pristine conditions.I'm interested in trade it for a Mark VI Tenor. I can send a completely detailed pictures album of the sax to anyone interested on it. Best Regards.

    Re: Trade Offer

Joe: I understand your desire perfectly. But even the least desirable working Mk VI will fetch over 3 grand on eBay. Your killer vintage Conn might get $2500. You are going to have a tough time getting a trade offer. If I were you (but I am not), I would keep the Conn and give it another chance. Vintage Conns are great horns that will only appreciate in value. You might be able to get a local player to fall in love with it and offer you a good trade or good purchase price. Aside from that, you may be able to get a trade for a MK VII. Granted the VII has some clunky keywork, but it is still a good horn and equitable in value to your Conn.
