Conn Tenor Sax

I have my fathers tenor sax, patented 1914 it has 1119954 and M235xxxx L. It has some fancy engraving, some pearl keys. I know my father was a professional musician and he played in a band on board the Queen Mary 1 on a crossing to New York from England in the 1950's. Can anyone shed anymore light on the year it was made please and perhaps a value? Not that is is for sale, just interested. Thank you.
