Vintage King (HN White) Alto Sax

I hope someone can help me! We just aquired one of my Grandfather's saxophones. I'm not sure what it's worth or how old it actually is. It is a King, HN White Alto Saxophone. Brass (gold colored) It has a serial number 39XXX and below that number it says "Low Pitch". My son plays alto sax and I'm wondering if this instrument is worth cleaning up for him.
