Buescher Sax Age??

My son is going into middle school and will be using my alto sax from grade school/hs. I'm going to have it overhauled since it has been in storage for many years. I was wondering how to determine its age. It says Buescher Aristocrat and has a number: 593519. I know I purchased it used from my mom's boss in 1977. Any ideas of the age? It looks to be in pretty good condition. How about the value as well? Thanks!

    based on the serial number the horn is a 'series IV" and was made between 1970-1975
