The elusive value of vintage Keilwerths - Help!

I own a brushed (satin?) silver plated Keilwerth Toneking from about 1959 (serial 34***) in good condition, acetate pant guard and all and am becoming frustrated trying to find its ultimate worth. It seems this problem is a widespread thing with these horns. I've seen a few discussions where the worth of Tonekings in general has been pegged at around $1200 - 1400, but "Sarge" at Worldwide Sax has one from '66 (55***) with standard silver plate that he is selling for $1999. I've seen this kind of price on a few other older listings as well, though I couldn't tell you whether the sellers had any success. Assuming that any piece being discussed is in generally the same condition, could anybody help me peg down the average market value of these horns? I am at my wits end with this and would very, very much appreciate it! Thanks!
