Conn 10M 1957 Without any engravings?!
I just bought a really cheap Conn 10M tenor, the serial number starts with 66.... (i don´t remember the rest right now) and it´s from 1957. But the strange thing about it is that it has no engravings. No Naked Lady, just a "stamp" that says that C.G. Conn, Elkhart Indiana USA.
Has anyone seen this before? I can´t find any explanations anywhere as to why it doesn´t have the normal engravings... Could it be something like a military-model? It´s in great condition and plays beautifully.
Thanks!
