Seeking Help To Identify This Alto (maybe its a Conn?)

I call this the mystery horn since it has no name. I'm not even sure it qualifies as a 'stencil'. I am buying it tonight and was wondering if your expert eyes would be helpful in a visual ID. I don't have the serial # yet but it looks to be a 30's or 40's vintage. The horn looks real good and has had recent pad work etc and I know its worth the 400 I'm paying.
