what is the age and how much is my conn alto sax worth

I recently acquired an alto sax made by Conn it is a 6M serial number 285677 it needs to be restored or refurbished the case is shot but the instrument looks to be in pretty good shape probably needs new pads and refinished or polished no dents

      it most certainly is worth restoring, tho I would not advise having it refinished. Just have it repadded and mechanically restored by a qualified tech. these are excellent and valuable instruments
