Re: YORK ALTO SAXOPHONE 84352 1926?
The York saxophone have the stack tone holes punched out of a strip of metal. This strip is soldered onto the front of the horn. The low Eb, fork E flat and from C down tone holes have small flanges that fit against the body of the instrument.
I have only seen this on York saxophones. The York bass was manufactured by Conn, and does not have tone holes like this.
