Conn 10M - need information on my model and value

I have a 10M Conn, in excellent playing condition. Repadded by reputable musician/repairman in California. It's serial number, if I understand it correct from reading on the bell (which has "the lady" engraved) is B 331739 L. Does anyone know the year? Value for an excellent playing instrument...it is not relaquered, I'd preferred to not do that as I love the sound and was not sure if it would have affected it. thanks

    1949-1950 dont relaquer it not sure of value on tenors, id guess around 2000

      Yes, DO NOT RELACQUER a horn unless it is in VERY POOR CONDITION, then the relacquering would improve the sonud of the horn

        if its in THAT poor of condition, relaquering is the least of your worries since it probably has structural damage.

          You apparently didn't read my initial post. It is in Excellent playing condition and even the body is in good shape. I was just commenting about a re-laquer, which I wouldn't do. I'm selling it. Arthritis set in..can't play it anymore. I have no worries about structural damage. I was asking about year/vintage and value/price. thanks, though.

        That serial number puts your horn in the 1948-49 year.

          i was refering to the post right above the one where i say something to the effect of "if its in that bad of condition..." in other words, a "what if" scenario just trying to make myself understood
