Hello, You have a C.G.Conn Conquerer Saxophone. Is it an alto saxophone? And you said it was bare brass or gold lacquer that has been worn off? Well, your saxophone was made 1947-1948 era, it's a Conuqerer and if it's a well worn horn, I'd say it's worth from $350.00 - $800.00 depending on its condition. Hope the information was helpful.

Not a Conqueror. That would be marked 30M for tenor, 26M for alto. This is a 10M (tenor)-a good pro model axe. Condition dictates price, but around 1-2 grand ballpark. I have one of these presently and it's a blast.
