Conn Silver "Naked Lady" 6M VIII #298056

Greetings, My first post and I don't know a thing about saxes! My 10 yr old started playing sax this year and seems to be sticking with it. So we wanted to get him a good sax (we had rented one in year 1). We had this sax "laying around" and had him take it to the instructor to look at. He said a 10 yr old should not be playing this but we should considering selling it and buying him a nice newer one. Anyway, wondering what this is worth. I have tried to read your forums to get an idea, and I realize it's "worth" is what someone is willing to pay for it, but just trying to get a general idea. $750? $1500? $2500? I tried to take some pictures of it (hopefully I can figure out how to post them or the links below). I can email more pics to anyone (to help ID, etc..). Thanks for any help or information.
