I bought my son this sax in a pawn shop in British Columbia a few years ago. I'm just curious if anyone has any ifo on it at all. I haven't been able to find a thing on the net. Engraved on the bell reads:
Jacques Perroquet /
Beare and Son /
London England, Toronto /
Made in France.
It is a silvered alto in excellent condition and appears to be from the 1930s or 40s. It became his primary instrument on stage and I'm curious about it's origin. Any help would be most appreciated.
