What is this saxophone?

I'm wondering if this is a conn saxophone and the approximate age of it. It has most of the laquer gone and you cannot see a brand. Here is the info on the back. Pat.D. Dec. 8, 1914 1119954 L P1242 (I think that is a P at the beginning, the end number is either a 1 or a 2, but I think it is a 2) C Any information would be helpful, Thanks!

    Re: What is this saxophone?

The "P" in the serial number indicates that this is a Conn "Stencil" horn, that is made by Conn for another company to put their name brand on. Conn serial number lists do not accommodate their stencil lines, so the exact date of manufacture cannot be determined. It is a C-Melody tenor, and therefor not worth a great deal as these command VERY limited interest in this day and age.
