To Sell or Not To Sell . . .

I have a vintage Conn sax that I cannot play and would like to sell. I've been told it's worth a great deal, but no one has given me a price range. Here is what is engraved on the front of the instrument: PATL; December 8, 1914; 1119954A; Serial #112804L. The entire instrument and all it's parts are original and I even have the original leather-handled case it's been stored in. The outside has the silver Conn logo and the inside is green velvet. The handle has considerable wear. I was going to have the instrument restored and then try to sell it, but everyone I've talked to believes it's worth more left as-is. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!
