Help Please!!!

I recently purchased a sax and its marked Beaufort Chicago American USA. I have done some research and think it may be a Conn stencil? But I cannot find anything bearing the Beaufort inscribing. The serial number is P20882, which I have found P serial numbers that belong to Conn. If anyone knows anything that would be great! thanks in advance!
