armstrong alto 3010 sax

I know nothing about saxaphones except that I have one that was in my father's things. It says Armstrong 3010 on it and Elkhart--Ind USA Can anyone tell me if it is a good sax, a cheap one, should I keep it, give it to the salvation army, try to sell it or what? It appears to be in good to excellent condition as I do not think my father had it very long. Thank you. LBW
