Any good?

Does anyone know anything helpful about Kohlert or Jupiter soprano saxes? Thanks

    I have a jupiter 547gl. Not a high end horn...it's made in china....but it gets the job done and plays in tune. I'm happy with it...for now.

      Id steer clear of the jupiter if you want something lasting. The new kolherts are china trash, dont even look. The origional Kolherts from "back in the day" we shall say were from a totally different company, and are pretty good horns

    jupiter is a complete waste of money, the only horn brands i would suggest are selmer, kielworth, and yamaha for modern, and then conn, sml, and also vintage selmers such as mark vi or super balanced action.
