Dukoff Crystalite D8 Mouthpiece

You were so helpful about my Dad's Mark VI that I have one more favor to ask.  In his things I also found a Bobby Dukoff D8 "super power chamber" crystalite mouthpiece marked Miami, Florida.  It has the ligature, cover, and original box.  I find very little about these on the web.  I did read they were from 1972 and for an alto sax.  True?  Any idea of value?  It needs to find a good home.

Thanks again for your time!

    Re: Dukoff Crystalite D8 Mouthpiece

There is a little information and photos on this very website.  Go to the "Saxophone Museum" tab and pick the "mouthpieces" subfolder, and then to to the Dukoff photo and click it.  The Saxquest page shows both an alto and a tenor clear crystalite mouthpiece.  The tenor piece has a short bit of descriptive text, and suggests that these were made in the late 70's and 80's.

    Here is the tenor page:

    Here is the alto page:

Looks to be a good mouthpiece.
