Paramount Saxophone

Has anyone ever heard of a Paramount Saxophone? It is sold by Costco for $500 Cdn. I am looking for something for my 10 year old son. I have also looked at EBay and found the following brands, Bundy II by Selmer, Kohlert, Selman, Schill, and Merano. Any experience with these brands would be appreciated. Greg

    Greg, there are alot of garbage brands out there. Many of them are sold on ebay. The quality of horn you get is directly proportional to the amount of money you spend. Yamaha and Selmer student horns are safe bets. For a ten year old I would suggest you do not spend alot of money. Let me know if you have any specific questions. joe
